Scope of application
The general terms and conditions of sale apply exclusively to current and future business relations between Penelope Store and its customers. The photos representing our products are not contractual. Any modification of these terms and conditions of sale remains possible but does not entail any retroactivity.
Prices and orders
All prices shown on our site are VAT included and are in force at the time the order is placed. They are written net, excluding shipping costs. Delivery costs are in addition for any order under 79€ including VAT.
Prices can be changed at any time at our request. They may vary according to exceptional events without our will.
In this case, we will be obliged to apply the rates resulting from these changes.
By confirming your order, you accept all the general terms and conditions of sale made available to you on the site and you acknowledge that you are aware of them. You therefore waive the right to bring any contradictory document, and in particular our general terms of sale.
This confirmation and all the data that we will have recorded will constitute the proof of our transactions.
Payment
Payment is made on Hipay Full Service's secure bank servers. No banking information concerning the customer transits via the Penelope-store.com website.
Payment by credit card is therefore perfectly secure.
The order will be recorded and validated as soon as the payment is accepted by Hipay Full Service.
The validation of the order by credit card is equivalent to a mandate to pay the price of the order including all taxes.
The debit of the payment is presented to the bank when your order is shipped.
For payment, the customer has the choice between :
- By Credit Card (CB, Visa, Eurocard Mastercard, Amex ) : secure payment system by HiPay Full Service
- By Paypal.
Thanks to the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, the credit card details are encrypted and never pass in clear on the network.
Postage and packing
FREE for France for any purchase over 79 euros (shipping costs of 6.90 euros for any order under 79 euros in metropolitan France).
Delivery
Our packages are shipped between 3 and 7 days (France) (Colissimo de La Poste). This period can be extended in periods of sales, Black Friday or Christmas (between 7 and 15 days).
The delivery is made to the address you indicated during your order. Shipments are made from Monday to Friday (except public holidays).
From the date the products leave our premises, the risks will be at your charge.
Delivery times are only indicative unless, exceptionally, we are committed to respecting a specific delivery date. A confirmation e-mail is sent to you when your order is dispatched upon arrival of the parcel(s) at the postal services. We cannot be held responsible for delays not respected by the carrier. Exceeding the delivery deadlines cannot give rise to damages.
Returns and Refunds
Only refunded is possible.
We guarantee the quality and good condition of all items we send. You have a legal withdrawal period of 14 days from receipt of the parcel. The forwarding expenses remain at your expense.

Our goods always travel at the buyer's risk and peril whatever the mode of transport and delivery conditions. The customer is responsible for checking the condition of the goods at the time of delivery by the carrier or postal services and, in case of problems or missing, to mention any reservations on the delivery slip of the carrier or postal services and confirm within 48 hours by registered letter to the company Penelope Store. Complaints that are not made in writing within 3 days of the delivery date will not be taken into consideration.
Only the defective product returned to us in its original condition, without having been used and after verification and acceptance in our stores will be counted for replacement. Any product used will not be refunded.
Availability of items
Product offers are valid while stocks last. Items that are not available are only removed from our website if our suppliers indicate that they are permanently out of stock (out of stock). In the event of punctual out-of-stock condition on not exhausted goods at the supplier, the sending of the order can be done in 2 stages: a first sending with the available goods, a second sending after restocking and this without additional cost for the customer.
Warranty for hidden defects and liability
In the event that the products we have delivered have a hidden defect, we may, at our option, eliminate this defect or replace the damaged product with another one. If we do not wish to eliminate this defect or replace the damaged product, or if we are unable to do so, or if we are unable to do so within the time limit because of factors beyond our control, you may, at your choice, return it to us against reimbursement of the price and return costs or ask us to reduce the sale price.
The products on offer comply with current French legislation. We are committed to making every effort in the profession for the service offered to the customer. Nevertheless, our responsibility cannot be retained in case of failure to meet our contractual obligations due to a case of force majeure such as disasters, strikes, fires, failure or breakdown of equipment, means of transport, communication or because of our actions.
Moreover, our responsibility will not be engaged in case of delay due to a stock shortage, nor in case of an error in the presentation of the products on our site, the photographs, texts or illustrations representing the products not being contractual.
Retention of title
The products delivered will remain the property of Penelope Store until all your obligations have been met, until full payment of the price, in accordance with Law No. 90325 of 12 May 1980.
Protection of personal data
The information requested from you is, for some indicated as such, necessary to process and execute your order or to improve our services. The processing of these personal data is done in compliance with the law on information technology and freedom of 06/01/1978. You have the right to access and rectify your personal data. You just have to contact us by email contact@penelope-store.com.
Your details may be transmitted to our partners or service providers to ensure the best possible processing of your orders and deliveries. Their use is limited to the sole execution of these services.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
The present general terms and conditions of sale are subject to French law. All disputes relating to the commercial relationship between you and us are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
Interruption of service and liability
Penelope Store declines all responsibility: In the event of interruption of the penelope-store.com site for technical maintenance operations or updating of published information. In the event of temporary inability to access penelope-store.com due to technical problems, regardless of origin and provenance. In the event of direct or indirect damage caused to the user, of whatever nature, resulting from the content, access, or use of penelope-store.com.
